1985 - 1986 Season

Geoff Cope made his second appearance at the dinner held on 30th October 1985. By this time he had retired from the first class game.

Geoff Miller returned to the Fylde for his second visit on 28th November 1985. No longer a part of the England team he had however continued to feature with both bat and ball at county level.

Graham Monkhouse of Cumberland and Surrey was the guest speaker on 30th January 1986. He played 75 first class matches in a six yaer career between 1980 and 1986 and scoring 1158 runs and taking 173 wickets.

Alan Hill of Derbyshire and the Orange Free State made his Fylde Coast Cricket Society debut on the 27th February 1986. Still playing first class cricket he went on to become an umpire and a regular visitor to the Society.

David Evans returned for his second visit to the Society on 3rd April 1986. Sadly David passed away in March 1990 aged just 56.
